Making Fun is always on the lookout for new fun to make. By building longstanding developer-publisher relationships, we aim to grow game concepts into high quality franchises. We aim to do this by making sure our games are best-in-class, truly social, and playable across multiple platforms.

We’d love nothing more than to hear about your project and development team. However, this openness to new ideas also exposes us to quite a few risks. So, while Making Fun eagerly takes every opportunity to improve and expand our game portfolio, we’ve found certain precautions are necessary for the protection of all parties involved. In order to avoid any misunderstandings — regarding our rights and obligations as well as those of the developer — we have established a few specific guidelines in receiving unsolicited ideas, business concepts and suggestions.

Making Fun will receive and consider your submitted ideas only if we can agree that the submission of ideas shall be subject to the following:

1. Owner Of New Idea; No Obligation

   Making Fun will receive only submitted ideas that are embodied in written form. In submitting your idea you are doing so with the assurance that to the best of your knowledge you are the sole originator of the idea and that you have the legal right to submit it to Making Fun for its evaluation. However, Making Fun is under no obligation to evaluate or use any idea or material you submit to us.

2. Disclosure Not Confidential

   You acknowledge that Making Fun may disclose the idea to its employees and service providers, and possibly others, to determine the idea’s value to Making Fun. It is understood that no confidential or other relationship is entered into by reason of the consideration of your submission to Making Fun or by reason of any oral discussions between Making Fun and you.

3. Conception By Making Fun

   Making Fun and its employees have many ideas of their own for the development of games, some of which may be similar to yours. An idea which is new to you may be old to Making Fun, or similar or identical ideas may be conceived independently by Making Fun or another party. Accordingly, you hereby waive any claim that Making Fun or its partners misappropriated any ideas in or portions of your submission in any activities in which Making Fun may engage in the future. Making Fun does not assume any obligation to return the submitted materials to you.

4. No Compensation

   No agreement for compensation shall be implied from Making Fun’s consideration or review of your submitted idea. However, should Making Fun elect to use any portion of your idea which is legally protectable, you and Making Fun shall negotiate appropriate compensation to you in good faith. Any consideration of the submitted idea or negotiations to purchase same does not waive Making Fun’s right to contest the validity of your copyrights, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

5. Modification

   The foregoing conditions may not be modified or waived except in a writing signed by an officer of Making Fun.
